Yellow Goat Farm

Yellow Goat Farm currently specializes in herbed soapes. However, they are working diligently toward building a cheese and milk business.  Anyone lucky enough to taste their yogurt, herb or fruit cheese experiments knows that we all can’t wait till they are an official dairy.

At Yellow Goat Farm, they lovingly raise a small herd of Nubian and Alpine dairy goats.  Their first goat, Milly-Goat, won their hearts and because of her wonderful demeanor, she gave them the courage to get started.  They decided early on to keep the herd small. They did not want this to be a business in the traditional sense of the word. Each goat deserved individualized attention. Any retired doe would still have a place with Yellow Goat Farm, and the kids would stay till they found good homes rather than go to market.

Yellow Goat Farm is a wonderful place and a great local project.
